PC Designer standard for sheet metal unfolding

Round to square transition piece

It unfolds the subject in two parts lengthwise or across or in four parts. The top and the bottom can be displaced.
Optional overlap edge at the top with individual width for the corners at a circular end, at the side and the square end. Calculates with or without belonging muff and nipple.

Square to square transition piece

Unfolds the transition piece in 2 parts longitudinally or transversely, or in 4 parts. Top and bottom can be shifted.
Optional overlay edges for top, side and round end.

Cone reduction piece

Unfolds a symmetrical cone.
Parameters are: average diameter for entry and exit as well as a height.
Optional overlay edges in both unfolding parts.

Segment Bends

Unfolds the Segment Bends into the following sections:

1 start segment
0-12 middle segments
1 end segment

Optional overlay edges at sides and for overlap at the end.

PC Designer standard

The Windows unfolding program PC Designer standard contains approx. 1/3 of all models throughout the program.
The program calculates unfoldings, bending angles, coordinates, areas and weights.
Subject and unfolding can be targeted and drawings can be saved in DXF file format or printed / plotted.
The Square-Round model has 2 angular parameters, the extended version has 3 angular parameters.
The cone model can unfold a symmetric reduction round to round. If the Cone reduction is unsymmetrical, oblique at one end or the subject is a straight tube, then the Round-Round reduction piece model in the extended version must be used.
The cone model in the standard version is only for symmetrical items.

DXF files

The subject and unfoldings can be saved with dimensions. Unfoldings can be saved in separate files or together in a DXF-file. Objects can be lines, circles and bows, but they can also be polylines.
